Grenfell Tower

On June 14th, 2017, a fire broke out in the Grenfell Tower in Kensington, London and 72 people died as a result of it.
Sir Martin Moore-Bick, chairman of the public inquiry, wrote in the final report in 2024: “The simple truth is that the deaths that occurred were all avoidable“.
